The Best Game you Haven't Played

Thanks to Kevin for helping me find this game. If you liked Diablo II, you're going to love Torchlight. Torchlight plays almost exactly like Diablo II - mostly because it was created by the guys who originally created Diablo II. Much like Diablo II (before the expansion) you get to choose 1 of 3 classes. Unlike Diablo II you are given a choice between a dog or cat to have as a "pet." Your bet can be assigned magic abilities, helps you fight, can be used as additional storage for items, and can even be sent back to town to sell your items so you don't have to waste a town portal scroll when your inventory gets full and you want to make some quick cash.

The game is a cool $20 and is currently download-only. Every once in a while they'll have specials (I got the game for $10, Kevin got it on Steam for $5), but even at $20, the game is WELL worth the price. Supporting semi-indy games like this (this wasn't developed under Blizzard, FYI) is something I'm all for. Aside from CODMW2, this is the best game I've played so far in 2010 and may very well be the best all year. Must have if you liked Diablo II.
